Personal Data
Nash collects user data, including email address and, if provided, given and family name. Nash does not sell or distribute this information to any third parties. Certain app features process user-generated content through third-party services as described below; this is solely to provide app functionality and that content is never sold or used for any other purpose. This data is not available to any other user who uses the application. The data is stored on Google's Firebase platform. For more information about Firebase's security and encryption, please visit Firebase Support/Privacy. At any time, the user can request for their account, along with all user data, to be deleted. This is available in the app from the "User Profile Screen" or can be submitted by request through email. This action cannot be undone and ALL data, including, but not limited to sessions, transactions, bankrolls, game variants, locations, hand histories, and user profile, will be permanently deleted. Just uninstalling the application does not delete the user account or any user data.
AI Features
Nash includes an optional Hand History Parser feature that uses artificial intelligence to transcribe and analyze poker hand descriptions. Use of this feature involves the following data processing:
Voice Transcription: If you use the microphone input, your voice recording is transmitted to OpenAI's Whisper API via Nash's secure cloud infrastructure for transcription. The raw audio recording is processed in real time and is not stored by Nash or retained by OpenAI beyond standard API processing.
Hand Description Analysis: The text of your hand description — whether spoken and transcribed or typed manually — is transmitted to OpenAI's API for parsing into structured hand history data. This text is not linked to your account or personal identity when sent for processing.
Bug Reports: If you choose to submit a report using the in-app "Report Issue" feature, your hand description text and the parsed hand history will be stored on Nash's Firebase platform and reviewed by the Nash developer solely to improve parsing accuracy. Submission is always voluntary and requires explicit confirmation. Your voice recording is never included in a report.
